So this is going to be the first of a couple haul posts. I am going to break them down into several posts only because if I had them as one big post, it would just be huge and unorganized and out of control. This first haul is a combination of my Ulta haul and a few products I picked up at the drugstore. Just noting in the beginning of this that ALL of the products here are drugstore brand products, so if you want high end makeup you will have to wait for my Sephora and MAC hauls! Lets get into it!
First thing I picked up was Maybelline’s Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Concealer. I mainly got this because I had forgotten my concealer at home, and I had forgotten to put it on that morning. (I know, who does that? Me, aparently!). I had very low expectations for this product. I didn’t think it was going to match my skin tone (I got it in Beige medium 2-4), I thought it wasn’t going to conceal anything. But honestly, I LOVE this product. It is now one of my regular concealers. And for $7.99 I am not going to complain. I probably will repurchase this unless I find something better.
Next thing I got at the drugstore was Wet N Wild Mega Liner Liquid Liner in black. For 2.99 its a good product. Not great, but not horrible. It has a brush applicator which is honest super cheap but it does the job. The liner dries in about 15 second which is really good, and it applies evenly. My only problem with it is that the bottle is SO small. I have that problem with a lot of liquid liners though. But its .12 fl oz, which I can see being used up in a couple weeks.
Now on to my Ulta haul! I bought 4 Prestige liquid liners (weird trend, I know, I love liquid liners) because Prestige honestly makes my favorite liners. It doesn’t have a brush, but a felt like tip to it, so it is easier to get an exact line. I bought 4 because they had a Buy 2 get 2 Free sale, which I couldn’t pass up so I decided to pick up my staple Black and 3 new colors. I got Fame, which is a really pretty silvery blue color that I like a lot more then I expected to. The next is Big Teal, which you guessed it, is teal! This one gives a sheerer coverage then the Black or the Fame colors do, but its still pretty. I would probably use it as an accent color. The last one I bought was Icon, which I can see being used with Fame (not because of the names) because the two colors are very pretty together. Icon is a plum purple with a hint of shimmer to it, and it really is SO pretty. These liners all dry really fast and are great at 5.59 each!
Last two things I got where two more NYX jumbo eye pencils. I love these, and I pick up new colors every time I go to Ulta. This time I got Pots & Pans which is a really pretty silver color and Yogurt, which is a beautiful shimmery light pink color. They actually look really pretty together on.
